Your honeymoon in a digital travel book.
The honeymoon is usually an extraordinary trip that is only done once in life. Therefore, it is important to save each memory, share the trip with friends and family who helped contribute to it, and why not preserve it in a beautiful photo book at the end of the trip?
What is Memotrips ?Memotrips is a French startup that is reinventing the travel diary by making it mobile, social and fun. It is the ideal solution that will accompany you in your pocket during the honymoon.
How does it work?In concrete terms, Memotrips is a mobile application (Android and iOS) and a website that allows you to create your digital travel diary. Memotrips takes back the spirit of the travel blog while removing all of its inconveniences like the page layout, the necessity of having a PC and an internet connection, or the transfer of photos from one's smartphone to one's PC, etc.
From one side, the newly married couple creates their travel diary at the start of their journey (while waiting to board the plane at the airport, for example) then sends it out by inviting their friends and family to Memotrips, or by directly sending the link to their travel diary by email, Facebook, Whatsapp, etc. Over the course of their honeymoon, the couple completes their travel diary by adding stages composed of photos, locations, impressions, and recommendations to it.
From the other side, the friends and family who were delighted to financially contribute to the honeymoon, are able to follow it via the couple's travel diary. They can even subscribe to the travel diary to be notified by push or email notification each time a new stage is added.
In this way, friends and family will be able to follow the trip that they gifted to the newly married couple. They will also be able to keep in touch thanks to the comments that can be left on the travel diary and the private messenger integrated into the web site and the mobile application.

The newly wedded adds the first stage
At any moment the the husband and the wife can fill out their travel diary by adding stages to it via their Android or iOS smartphone, or via the website.
The mobile applications manage the offline mode, which means that an internet connection is not required for the teacher to add stages.
A stage is a moment of the day (a visit, a meal, etc.) defined by a title, description, location, time and date and eventually photos.
Friends and family subscribed to the travel diary are notified
As soon as a stage is entered and synced with Memotrips, friends and family are notified by email or push notification. They can then view the new stage and the photos, and leave a comment on them.
The traveler is notified with each new comment
As soon as a friend or family leaves a comment on the travel diary, the traveler is notified by email and by push notification. They can directly respond to them or use the internal messaging service for more confidentiality.
